Delete your YSD account and data

You can delete your account and all the data linked to it at any time.

In the app

1. Open YSD and sign in.
2. Tap the shield (Privacy) button at the top of the home screen.
3. Under Delete my account, tap Delete my account and data and enter your password to confirm.

By email

If you can't use the app, email support@yourshootingdata.co.za from the email address you signed up with, and ask us to delete your account. We'll do so within 30 days and confirm by email.

What is deleted

Your email address and login, tracked applications, firearms, competency certificates, backed-up loads, photos and other backed-up data, and your consent record. Anonymous statistics (for example "step 8 took 41 days") are kept, because they cannot be linked to you. Comments and suggestions you sent are deleted on request. Data kept only on your phone is removed when you uninstall the app.
